| Hardware | At least 8 GB RAM, 4 CPU cores, microphone, audio output, and 5 GB free storage. |
| Camera | Optional. Needed only for gesture control, the character mirror, or an explicitly requested camera snapshot. |
| Internet | Required for activation and periodic license revalidation when reachable, initial speech-model downloads, model-provider requests, and updates. A signed entitlement permits offline starts for at most 30 days after a successful check. |
| Model account | A signed-in Codex CLI, Groq API key, OpenRouter API key, or xAI API key for Grok Voice. Provider usage and charges belong to that account. |
