RELEASE NOTES
What's new in Jarvis.
Every release, newest first. Jarvis 0.3.1 and later update themselves: when a new version is out, an "Update available" card appears in the HUD and one click installs it.
0.3.1 · October 20, 2026
The first version that updates itself. If you are on an older build, install this one once from the download page; every update after it arrives in the app.
Fixed
- Coding agents on Windows no longer close about 15 seconds after they start, and a finished agent's window now closes on its own.
- Jarvis no longer refuses to start agents on everyday laptops: it now keeps less memory in reserve for your system.
- The voice engine starts reliably.
- License activation works even if your computer's clock runs a little slow, and a failed activation now tells you why.
- No more console windows flashing up while Jarvis starts.
- On speakers, Jarvis no longer hears himself and answers his own voice.
New
- System tray icon with Show Jarvis and Quit Jarvis. In standby, right-click the orb for the same menu, or double-click it to bring Jarvis back.
- Choose your Codex model in onboarding or Settings. By default Jarvis uses the newest fast "Luna" model.
- Built-in updates: an "Update available" card in the HUD, installed only when you click Install & restart.
0.2.0 · July 24, 2026
The first public release of Jarvis: realtime voice conversation that runs locally, spawning and supervising coding agents by voice, desktop control, the reactor-orb HUD, optional hand tracking, and license activation with two machines per license.
